cookies · what the site keeps in your browser
a few cookies, no crumbs.
A cookie is a small note a website leaves in your browser. We use the few the site needs to work, and Google Analytics only if you say yes. No advertising, ever.
the short version
Signing in to your jobs page, and remembering your cookie answer. They can’t be switched off, and they don’t track you.
Google Analytics cookies count visits so we know which pages help. Only if you say yes, and you can change your mind.
Nothing on this site follows you around the web or feeds adverts.
the ones the site needs
These do a job you asked for, so the law lets us set them without asking. Most of them are only set once you sign in to your jobs page.
| name | what it does | how long |
|---|---|---|
sb-…-auth-token | Keeps you signed in to your jobs page or our dashboard. | Until you sign out, or 400 days |
od_session | Does the same on a test copy of the site. | 30 days |
od_next | Remembers where to send you after the studio signs our Claude connector in. | 10 minutes |
od_consent | Remembers your yes or no to Google Analytics. | 1 year |
and one that isn’t a cookie
The first page you open plays a short opening animation. So it doesn’t play again on every page, your browser remembers it has played (od-splash, in session storage) until you close the tab.
the one we ask about
With your yes, Google Analytics counts visits: which pages are opened, roughly where from, on what kind of device, and how people found us. It tells us which work people look at and where the site could be clearer. It doesn’t tell us who you are, and we have switched off Google’s advertising features.
Google’s tag is on every public page either way, set to “no” until you say yes (Google calls this consent mode). Until then it stores nothing in your browser and sets none of the cookies below; it only sends Google a signal that a page was opened, with no way to tell one visit from the next, which Google uses to estimate how many people said no.
| name | what it does | how long |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Tells one visit from the next, without knowing who you are. | 2 years |
_ga_4VCV133GBE | Keeps a visit’s pages together. | 2 years |
It never runs on the private side of the site: your jobs page, quotes or our dashboard. Google’s own notice is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
changing your mind
Say yes or no again whenever you like. A no clears Google’s cookies straight away.
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser’s settings. Blocking the ones the site needs will stop you signing in to your jobs page.
more about your information
How we look after what you tell us, and how to ask for it, is on the privacy page.
